At an early stage of making music, label owner Ignez had a strong conceptual idea on how his music should be presented. Visually, musically and spiritually. Everything should implement each other and intertwine in order for the listener to experience the full vision.

This could only be done with an own imprint and thus Somov Records was born. Together with a group of friends Ignez started to sketch ideas in a bungalow far away from society at the coast of the North Sea. Here they bundled creativity and sketched a boundless vision for the future of Somov.
